Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president JP Nadda during his visit to the national capital. Scheduled just five days before the floor test on February 12, sources indicate that Kumar is likely to request special packages for Bihar during his meetings with the top BJP leaders. The discussions may also encompass issues related to the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls in Bihar, where six seats are set to be contested on February 27.
Additionally, Nitish Kumar is expected to meet veteran BJP leader LK Advani during his Delhi visit. This marks Kumar's first visit to the national capital since forming a new government in Bihar with the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), abandoning the Mahagathbandhan and INDIA bloc. Nitish Kumar recently took the oath as Chief Minister for the ninth time in Raj Bhawan, Patna, aligning with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in his second political switch within two years.
